The Giant?s Causeway UNESCO World Heritage site is a scenic 20-minute drive along the Causeway Coastal Route, one of the world?s great road journeys.

BY CAR Heading north out of Belfast on the M25 motorway follow signs for Ballymena/Coleraine then take the A26, follow until Ballymoney. Take the B62 towards Ballybogy. Portrush is signed Bushmills/ Portrush

BY TRAIN Belfast to Portrush by train is just over two hours and then a 2m walk from Dhu Varren train stop to Blackrock House. The main terminal is ?Portrush? in the town centre but Dhu Varren stop is closer to us by the railway arch. Please note not all services stop at Dhu Varren.

There are also regular rail connections from Dublin (4h 34m) via Belfast Lanyon Place to Coleraine, then change for Portrush. Nicola used to work for Eurostar in London so can easily help plan your train route. Please call in advance if you would like us to pick you up with your luggage. 

Take an extra day at Blackrock to enjoy one of the Great British Rail Journeys as seen on TV?s BBC1 with Michael Portillo. Travel from Portrush/Coleraine to Derry/Londonderry along the coastal railway line. This 1hour 45m train journey cuts through mountain tunnels with cliff top temples following the sea and shoreline of Lough Foyle into Londonderry. Enjoy the day meandering through the 400-year-old walled City of Derry. Highly recommended for the driver to relax and have ?a day off? during a driving holiday through Ireland.

BY PLANE There are 3 Airports to fly into Northern Ireland. The George Best City Airport (1h 10min) is located by the Harbour in Belfast City Centre so allow time for traffic. Belfast International Airport (1h) is closer to Portrush as it is located on the outskirts of Belfast. City of Derry Airport (45min) drive to Portrush. Please call in advance to book a taxi, private chauffeur, or luxury group coach transfer.
